Questions. And the questions behind them.
Every question gets two answers: one for what you asked, one for what you meant.
Who is Hubbz for?
The real question: is this for me?
If you have knowledge people will pay for — a course, a community, workshops, coaching — yes. Lecturers, creators, coaches, training orgs. If you just want another Facebook group, Facebook exists. If you want a business with a brand, an address, and revenue under one roof that's yours — you've found the point.
Do I need to know how to build websites?
The real question: how much of a headache is this?
No. Sign up, pick a name and a plan — the site comes up with a theme, community, and roles ready. Uploading a course is a form, not a project. You do the teaching; we do the plumbing.
How do I get paid?
The real question: how much are you taking from me?
Up to you. Connect your own Sumit account — money flows straight to you and we never touch it. Our fee: zero. No payment account of your own? Charge through ours, for a per-sale fee defined by your plan and printed on it in large type, with net proceeds settled to you by bank transfer — and a balance you can check anytime. Everything in shekels, with VAT invoices.
Is it Sumit only?
The real question: will this work with my Israeli business?
Yes — today Hubbz runs on Sumit and ILS, because we built deep for the Israeli market: invoices, VAT, recurring billing. One integration that works brilliantly beats five that work “mostly”.
Is there a free trial?
The real question: when do you start charging me?
Plan-dependent, and printed right on the card: how many days, and whether a payment card is required. Nothing is charged during the trial. The catalog is live — if it's not on the card, it doesn't exist.
Can I use my own domain?
The real question: will it look like mine or yours?
Yours. Connect a domain you own, verify it with a DNS record — and from then on your academy lives at your address, search results included (on eligible plans). Until then you have your own branded address from minute one — and your logo, colors, and icon everywhere regardless.
What if I want to leave?
The real question: are you locking me in?
No. Hit export and get one tidy archive: members, courses, resources, coupons, and the audit trail — plus a full API to pull everything programmatically. No retention form, no “wait, let's talk” call. The door is open on purpose — which, we suspect, is exactly why you won't use it.
I'm on LearnDash or Airtable. Is moving painful?
The real question: who carries the boxes?
We do. We have dedicated migration tooling for both and run the move as a service: course structure, content, resources, and images arrive organized. It's not a dashboard button — it's a team with tools. A button would be nice; a human is better.
Does the Hebrew actually work, or is it “RTL support”?
The real question: how often will I be embarrassed in front of my students?
Zero times — that's the goal. Hebrew is the product's mother tongue, not a translation plugin: every screen is built right-to-left, including social share cards where the Hebrew doesn't flip (we checked; it's remarkably rare). VAT invoices, analytics on Israel time — and full English exists too, each site picks its language.
What about AI?
The real question: buzzword or feature?
A feature, twice. Inward: automatic transcription and captions for lessons, translation and in-video search down to the exact second included (on eligible plans). Outward: a full admin API and an MCP server — plug Claude or any AI agent into managing courses, content, and members on your behalf, with secured, audited keys. Buzzwords not included.
How secure is it?
The real question: can I sleep at night?
Yes. AES-256-encrypted secrets at rest, hashed API keys with constant-time comparison, rate limiting, sanitization of all user HTML, and passwordless sign-in via single-use magic links and passkeys — we store no passwords at all. On top of it all: 878 automated tests and an audit log that remembers everything. Sleeping well is part of the product.
Is there an app?
The real question: can my students learn from their phones?
Yes — and better than an app store: your site installs itself as an app (PWA). Your branded icon on their home screen, push notifications, an offline screen. No two-week review queues, and no 30% commission to any fruit-themed corporation.
What happens if I stop paying?
The real question: am I a hostage here?
No — it's a process, not a drama: your site stays live through the paid period. If billing stays unresolved, the site is paused — not deleted. Billing management and your data remain reachable from your account, export included. Settle up, and you're back online. Data is not a bargaining chip around here.
Do my members need an account per site?
The real question: how many passwords will this cost them?
Zero. A single Hubbz account works across every site on the platform, and sign-in is passwordless — an emailed magic link, or a passkey on devices that support one. Each academy keeps its own experience, enrollment, and settings: less friction for students, zero brand bleed between you and anyone else.
